Urban mobility is ripe for transformation and we are committed to playing a major role in this key market. »
The eVTOL concept presented at Uber Elevate 2018 represents an aircraft with the mission to transport passengers in an urban environment, based on the main design drivers of safety, passenger experience, affordability and a very low footprint, both in terms of noise and emissions.
« We are developing solutions to bring on-demand air transportation to urban areas to improve the quality of life for millions of people. Our collaboration with key stakeholders will accelerate the arrival of this new ecosystem », said Antonio Campello, Director of the subsidiary Embraer X, before adding that eVTOL « is just one example of the way Embraer X is committed to exploring a range of products and innovative services which could revolutionize the market of air transportation ».
