On December 3rd, Russian Helicopters (part of the Rostec State Corporation) will demonstrate its Ansat and Mi-171A2 aircraft in Malaysia. Two Russian civilian helicopters will be presented for the first time in Kuala Lumpur within the unique demonstration tour across Southeast Asia.
Ansat and Mi-171A2 helicopters painted with colors of Asian states’ national flags will conduct demo flights above the Sepang F1 International Circuit. After that, potential customers will be able to look at the aircraft and ask pilots, engineers and representatives of the holding company about everything they are interested in. Following the demo tour, CEO of Russian Helicopters Andrey Boginsky will take part in the press conference, and Russian Helicopters’ specialists will make presentations of Ansat and Mi-171A2 aircraft for all Malaysian operators of helicopters.
Russian Helicopters started its demonstration tour across Southeast Asia after the Airshow China 2018 aerospace exhibition in China. Two helicopters embarked on the tour from Zhuhai on November 12th. As of now, the total distance covered by the aircraft has exceeded 4.5 thousand kilometers.
Moving along the demo tour route, on November 16th the helicopters made a stop in Hanoi (Vietnam), on November 20th – in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and on November 26th – at the U‑Tapao airfield near Bangkok (Thailand). Kuala Lumpur will be the final point within the demonstration tour across Southeast Asia.
