To develop business helicopter flights at Switzerland’s Payerne Airport, Speedwings Business SA and Bamberg-based BHS Helicopterservice GmbH with its subsidiary DC Aviation Switzerland of Zurich signed a letter of intent to cooperate. The signature took place at EBACE in Geneva. This partnership will expand the range of services on the Payerne site with the addition of helicopter flights on behalf of operators and private owners. The airport, a joint military-commercial operation with the Swiss Air Force, has a main terminal building that opened for general aviation on March 29, 2019 and is operated by Speedwings. The terminal offers passenger and crew lounges, as well as office space, conference rooms, and four hotel rooms for crewmembers.
