In late July, Safran Helicopter Engines (SHE, formerly Turbomeca) announced the launch of a new online service called Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP), which will give customers access to technical documentation. “Every helicopter equipped with a Safran engine comes with a complete set of technical publications covering first and intermediate level maintenance tasks. It includes, amongst others, the maintenance manual, troubleshooting book, spare parts and tools catalogs, and service bulletins,” explained the SHE press release. The service is, of course, available 24/7 on any iOS, Windows or Android computer or tablet via the SHE Customer Portal.
